Why the Z Series?

Harnesses in our Z Series are equipped with "bungee cord-like" elastic rubber straps. They absorb and mitigate the shocks resulting from sudden pulls and serve as a cushion for comfort between your hand and your dog. Constant pulling isn't something to be overlooked. It creates stress on you and your dog, especially on longer walks and outdoor activities. Consider our Z Series if you have an excited pup that constantly pulls.

Different situation calls for different wears. You wouldn't wear jeans and sandals to a hike because that would just be uncomfortable, right? When we were creating the Lite Gear Z Harness, we focused the entire design by constantly asking ourselves, Is this going to be comfortable for dogs that constantly pulls as well as for owners that are holding on?
This is why we made the Lite Gear Z Harness with

1. In general, what is the Gooby Lite Gear Z Harness?

Every harness in our Z Series are equipped with "bungee cord-like" elastic rubber straps.

On top of that, the Lite Gear Z comes with the following features:

Flexible Body Frame - contours to your pup's body shape and moves around as your pup moves, creating maximum comfort.
Shock Absorbing Design - cushions and softens the sudden shock when your pup pulls so it's not so hard on your arms.
Easy-Snap Rotational Buckles - rotate when your pup makes sudden turns which adds comfort and further complements the flexible body frame.

Note:

The Lite Gear Z is a great fit if you've been searching for an ergonomic harness for those weekend getaways with your pup.

2. What materials are used?

The outer layer is made with scratch resistant material.

The inner body layer is made with soft and lightweight breathable mesh fabric.

The hardware (i.e. easy-snap rotational buckles and hexagonal rings) are made of P.O.M. plastic. It is the same material used for seatbelts.

3. What sizes are available?

The Lite Gear Z Harness comes in a range of sizes from small to extra large or dogs with a girth of 13.5" to 28.75".

4. Is it adjustable?

Yes, it's adjustable.

It is equipped with individual buckle adjusters on each strap to ensure a personalized fit for your dog.

5. Is it machine washable?

Yes, it is machine washable.

We recommend the following:

using a gentle cycle with mild detergent and cold water
rinse the harness thoroughly before air drying it.

6. How to put it on?

Follow these steps:

1. Un-snap the easy rotational buckles and place the harness over your dog's head, with the two straps under your dog's belly.
2. Pull the two side straps up and over your dog's chest, and snap the easy rotational buckles in place.
3. Adjust the straps to fit your dog snugly but comfortably, making sure that you can fit 1 finger's width between the straps and your dog's body.
4. Attach your leash to the D-ring on the back of the harness.
5. check that the harness is secure and properly fitted before you start walking your dog.

7. What is the weight limit for this harness?

Gooby harnesses are mostly designed for puppies and small to medium-sized dog breeds, typically weighing less than 35 lbs.

8. What colors does it come in with?

Black, pink, blue, green, turquoise and red.

9. Can it be used for extreme outdoor activities?

No. It is only suitable for normal outdoor activities such as walking, running and, etc.

Extreme outdoor activities (i.e. swimming, tug of war games, canicross, paragliding, canyoneering and etc.) can hasten the wear of the harness.

Any misuse of our harnesses can potentially result in product failure and/or even injury to your dog.

10. Is it easy to put on and take off?

Yes. It is designed for easy on and off use.

Its easy-snap rotational buckles allow convenient and effortless application and removal, making it quick and hassle-free to put on and take off your pup.

11. Does it have reflective materials?

No. It does not have anything reflective on it.

12. Can it be used for training?

The Lite Gear Z is not specifically designed for training purposes.

It was designed to absorb and mitigate the shocks resulting from sudden dog pulls.

13. Is it breathable and comfortable for dogs to wear?

Yes. The harness is made of soft materials that are intended to be gentle and comfortable on your dog's skin features.

The inner layer also features a breathable mesh design that may help to promote airflow and keep your dog cool while wearing it.

Important note:

choose the correct size for your dog.
always monitor your dog when using a new harness because some dogs may not be comfortable wearing a new harness for the first time.

14. Does it have a handle for control or lifting?

No. It does not have a traffic handle.

It's designed to fit a variety of small to medium dog breeds, but it may not be suitable for all dogs (i.e. large breeds like Labradors.)
