1. In general, what is a Raincoat Pro?

The Gooby Raincoat Pro is an upgraded version of the Gooby raincoat. It is a protective garment designed to keep dogs dry and shielded from rain and wet weather conditions.

It comes with the following features:

Full Belly Coverage - Keep your dog clean and dry all the away around, including the underside that can be difficult to dry when wet.
Built-in Leash Attachment - metal alloy d-rings on the outer layer provides convenience without sacrificing safety.
Easy to Wear - step-in design puts on quickly, especially for excitable dogs who are sensitive to pullover wearables.
Customizable Fit - shape to your dog's body with four adjustable fit for a more comfortable and secure fit.

2. What materials are used?

It is made of 100% waterproof polyester material.

It keeps your dog dry and protected in the rain. It also prevents water from seeping through the coat, keeping your dog's fur dry and comfortable.

3. How to put it on?

Follow the steps below:
1. Unfasten the Velcro straps or buckles on the raincoat.
2. Place the raincoat over your dog's head, positioning the larger opening around their neck.
3. Gently guide your dog's front legs through the designated leg holes of the raincoat.
4. Bring the raincoat's back portion up and align it with your dog's back.
5. Secure the raincoat in place by fastening the velcro straps and the easy snap rotational buckles around your dog's belly, ensuring a snug but comfortable fit.
6. Adjust the hood if the raincoat has one, making sure it covers your dog's head adequately without obstructing their vision or breathing.
7. Check that the raincoat fits properly and allows for your dog's freedom of movement. Make any necessary adjustments to ensure a comfortable fit.
8. Ensure that all straps, buckles, or fasteners are securely fastened to keep the raincoat in place during outdoor activities.

4. How warm is it?

The Gooby Raincoat Pro is primarily designed to protect dogs from rain and wet weather conditions, rather than providing insulation for warmth.

While it does provide some additional coverage, it does not have built-in insulation for thermal warmth.

5. How to find the right size?

Follow these steps:
1. Measure the widest part of your dog's chest
2. Measure your dog's length from the base of your dog's neck to the base of his tail.
3. Refer to the sizing chart provided by Gooby to determine the appropriate size for your dog's vest.

6. Will it fit large breeds?

Gooby products are primarily designed for toys and small breeds. However, in certain cases, they may also accommodate medium and large pups with chest measurements ranging from 10.5" to 33".

7. Can it handle rain?

8. Is it suitable for cats?

Gooby is primarily designed for dogs, but we've received feedback from our paw-some community that some of our products, can work well for cats too!

However, it's important to remember that cats have different body structures, sizes, and temperaments compared to dogs.

So, if you're considering Gooby items for your cat, keep their unique needs and measurements in mind.

9. Is it good for all day wear?

Yes. It is suitable for extended periods of wear during rainy days.

However, the ideal duration for wearing the coat may vary depending on your dog's individual needs and preferences.

Important note:

Some dogs may be more sensitive to certain fabrics or styles of clothing.
Monitor your dog closely while they are wearing the apparel.
Remove if you notice any signs of discomfort or irritation.

10. Is it machine washable?

Yes, it is machine washable.

We recommend the following:

using a gentle cycle with mild detergent and cold water.
rinse the harness thoroughly before air drying it.

11. Is it stretchable?

No. It is not stretchable.

12. Is it prone to shrinkage?

It is not commonly reported with shrinkage issue.

However, it is still recommended to follow the care instructions on the product label to prevent any possible damage and/or potential shrinkage to the product.

13. Does the Gooby Raincoat Pro comes with reflective strips?

Yes, it does come with reflective strips.

These reflective strips are designed to enhance visibility and safety during low-light conditions.

14. Are the inner and outer layers of the Gooby Raincoat Pro sold separately?

No, the inner and outer layers of the Gooby Raincoat Pro are not sold separately.

The raincoat is designed as a single, complete garment that includes both the inner and outer layers.

The inner layer and outer layer work together to provide protection against rain and keep your dog dry. They are integrated to offer functionality and convenience in a single raincoat, making it easy to put on and take off.

15. Can I use inner or outer layers of a different size with the Gooby Raincoat Pro and still have a proper fit and match?

No. The inner and outer layers of the Gooby Raincoat Pro are designed to match and fit together specifically for the corresponding size of the raincoat. They are not intended to be mixed and matched with different sizes of inner or outer layers.

Each size of the raincoat has inner and outer layers that are proportionally designed to ensure a proper fit and functionality. Mixing different sizes of inner and outer layers may result in an ill-fitting raincoat that does not provide the intended protection or comfort for your dog.

Therefore, it is recommended to use the corresponding inner and outer layers that come with the specific size of the Gooby Raincoat Pro for the best results.

We stand by our products. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return your order within 30 days of purchase for a refund of the items.

We are currently only able to create labels for U.S. based address.
