1. In general, what is a Padded Vest?

It is a warm and comfortable sleeveless garment for dogs. It has padding inside for insulation and a secure closure system for a customized fit. It comes in different colors and styles, offering both functionality and fashion for your pet.

It comes with the following features:

Water Resistant and Lightweight - it keeps your dog dry, it’s comfy, it protects them from snow, it’s lightweight, it doesn’t get soggy from snow or rain and it’s cute.
Pain-free zipper guard - helps prevent your pet's hair from getting caught in the zipper.
Bottom opening design - it provides convenient and effortless access, making it easy to put on or remove the garment with ease.
Fleece lining - keeps your small dog warm and cozy when out on a walk in the winter.
Dual D-Rings - providing increased functionality and security.

2. What materials are used?

The vest is right for you and your pup if you are living in or traveling to areas with harsh winter environment. It's lightweight and breathable properties, allowing for ease of movement and providing adequate insulation for your furry friend.

The inner fleece on the inside adds extra comfort and is made with 100% polyester.

The outer layer is made of water resistant layer made of 100% nylon.

3. How to put it on?

Follow these steps:
1. Unzip the vest and lay it flat on the ground.
2. Lift your dog's front legs and guide them through the two leg holes of the vest.
3. Bring the vest up and around your dog's back, ensuring that the vest's back portion is properly aligned with your dog's spine.
4. Fasten the zipper or buttons on the vest, making sure it is snug but not too tight on your dog's chest.
5. Adjust the vest's neck and waist areas, ensuring that it fits comfortably and snugly but not too tight.
6. Double-check that the vest is properly aligned and fastened to your dog's body to ensure maximum warmth and comfort.

4. How warm is it?

5. How to find the right size?

Follow these steps:
1. Measure the widest part of your dog's chest
2. Measure your dog's length from the base of your dog's neck to the base of his tail.
3. Refer to the sizing chart provided by Gooby to determine the appropriate size for your dog's vest.

6. Will it fit large breeds?

Gooby products are primarily designed for toys and small breeds. However, in certain cases, they may also accommodate medium and large pups with chest measurements ranging from 13" to 23".

7. Can it handle rain?

It is not waterproof, but it is water-resistant.

This means that it can resist light rain and water splashes, but it is not designed to be submerged in water or withstand heavy rain or water exposure.

8. Is it suitable for cats?

Gooby is primarily designed for dogs, but we've received feedback from our paw-some community that some of our products, can work well for cats too! However, it's important to remember that cats have different body structures, sizes, and temperaments compared to dogs.

So, if you're considering Gooby items for your cat, keep their unique needs and measurements in mind.

9. Is it good for all day wear?

Yes. It is suitable for extended periods of wear.

However, the ideal duration for wearing the vest may vary depending on your dog's individual needs and preferences.

Important note:

Some dogs may be more sensitive to certain fabrics or styles of clothing.
Monitor your dog closely while they are wearing the apparel.
Remove if you notice any signs of discomfort or irritation.

10. Is it machine washable?

Yes, it is machine washable.

We recommend the following:

using a gentle cycle with mild detergent and cold water.
rinse the harness thoroughly before air drying it.

11. Is it stretchable?

No. It is not stretchable.

12. Is it prone to shrinkage?

It is not commonly reported with shrinkage issue .

However it is still recommended to follow the care instructions on the product label to prevent any possible damage and/or potential shrinkage to the product.

13. What is the difference between the Gooby Padded Vest and Gooby Padded Vest Solid?

The Gooby Padded Vest and Gooby Padded Vest Solid are made of the same padded material and have a similar design. The only difference is that the outer layer of Gooby Padded Vest comes in two-toned colors, while the outer layer of the Gooby Padded Vest Solid is available in solid colors.

Shipping is free for U.S orders over $75. For any other purchases, shipping will be calculated at checkout.

What is your return policy?

We stand by our products. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return your order within 30 days of purchase for a refund of the items.

We are currently only able to create labels for U.S. based address.

1. All items must be unaltered, unwashed, and free of pet hair and dirt.

What is Your Warranty Policy?

Gooby is proud to design and create simple and functional products with quality and durability. Our products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for purchases from goobypet.com or authorized dealers for up to one year from your date of purchase.

Please note that the warranty will not cover:

2. Misuse or improper use of the product

3. Chewing or biting

4. Alterations or modifications to the product
