1. In general, what is a Fleece Vest?

The Fleece Vest is a popular and stylish dog apparel known for its comfort, style, and functionality. It is perfect for keeping your dog warm in nippy weather.

It comes with the following features:

Leash Attachment - allows you to easily attach a leash or lead to your dog's harness or collar. (not recommended if your dog pulls.)
Pullover design - can be easily pulled over the dog’s body for quick and convenient dressing.
Bottom Opening - it provides convenient and effortless access, making it easy to put on or remove the garment with ease.

2. What materials are used?

It is made of 100% Polyester. It is a soft and comfortable material that provides warmth and insulation for your dog.

Additionally, it is a lightweight and breathable fabric that is also easy to clean and maintain.

3. How to put it on?

Follow these steps:

Roll the sweater like a sock, then simply slip it over your dog's head.
Guide their paws through the leg openings.
Check the overall fit (It should fit snugly but not too tight)

Note:

Can be worn as a cozy layer underneath a harness or coat.
You can attach a leash ring on the vest.

4. How warm is it?

It is designed to provide a moderate level of warmth for your dog.

It is made of a soft and cozy fleece material that helps to retain body heat and keep your furry friend comfortable in cooler temperatures.

It is best suited for mild to moderate chilly weather.
It is a great layering piece under a heavier coat in colder climates.
It is not designed for extreme cold weather conditions.

5. How to find the right size?

Follow these steps:

Measure the widest part of your dog's chest
Measure your dog's length from the base of your dog's neck to the base of his tail.
Refer to the sizing chart provided by Gooby to determine the appropriate size for your dog's vest.

6. Will it fit large breeds?

Gooby products are primarily designed for toy and small breeds. However, in certain cases, they may also accommodate medium and large pups with chest measurements ranging from 11" to 22".

7. Is it suitable for all dog breeds?

It's designed to fit a variety of small to medium dog breeds, but it may not be suitable for all dogs (i.e. large breeds like Labradors.)

Please measure your dog's chest girth to determine which size is best for your dog.

8. Can I put it under a sweater?

Yes, you have the option to use it under a sweater if you want extra warmth for your pup.

The vest is designed to be thin and comfy, so it can easily fit under most sweaters without causing any discomfort to your dog.

9. Can it handle rain?

While it can provide warmth during cold rainy days, it is not waterproof and it is not designed to protect against rain or any water elements.

10. Is it suitable for cats?

We've had feedbacks from our community that our stretch fleece works great on their cat but it is important to note that cats have distinct body structures, sizes, and temperaments in comparison to dogs.

For this reason, it is generally advised to opt for apparels specifically designed for cats.

11. Is good for all day wear?

Yes, it's great for all day wear.

Important note:

Some dogs may be more sensitive to certain fabrics or styles of clothing.
Monitor your dog closely while they are wearing apparel.
Remove if you notice any signs of discomfort or irritation.

12. Is it machine washable?

Yes, it is machine washable.

We recommend the following:

using a gentle cycle with mild detergent and cold water
rinse the harness thoroughly before air drying it.

Shipping is free for U.S orders over $75. For any other purchases, shipping will be calculated at checkout.

Returns & Warranty

What is your return policy?

We stand by our products. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return your order within 30 days of purchase for a refund of the items.

We are currently only able to create labels for U.S. based address.

1. All items must be unaltered, unwashed, and free of pet hair and dirt.

2. Purchased within 30 days.

What is Your Warranty Policy?

Gooby is proud to design and create simple and functional products with quality and durability. Our products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for purchases from goobypet.com or authorized dealers for up to one year from your date of purchase.

Please note that the warranty will not cover:

1. Normal wear and tear

2. Misuse or improper use of the product

3. Chewing or biting

4. Alterations or modifications to the product
