The Gooby Challenge 2026 — Official Rules

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHICH ARE A BINDING CONTRACT. PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING.

1. ELIGIBILITY

The Gooby Challenge 2026 ("Sweepstakes") is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, and Canada who are eighteen (18) years of age or older (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is greater) at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Inafiction USA Inc. dba Gooby ("Sponsor"), their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children, and their respective spouses), and those living in the same household (whether legally related or not) are not eligible to participate or win.

By participating in the Sweepstakes, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.

2. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD

The Sweepstakes begins on May 4, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time ("PT") and ends on June 21, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PT (the "Sweepstakes Period"). The Sponsor's designated computer clock is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes.

3. HOW TO ENTER

During the Sweepstakes Period, participants may earn points ("Points") through the methods described below. Points determine the number of entries a participant receives in the final drawing. One (1) Point equals one (1) entry.

MAXIMUM POINTS: Regardless of entry method, each participant is limited to a maximum of seventy-five (75) total Points during the Sweepstakes Period. Any Points earned beyond this cap will not be counted.

A. Email Signup (No Purchase Required)

Visit The Gooby Challenge landing page and submit a valid email address to sign up for the Gooby Pet email list. You will receive four (4) Points upon successful signup. Limit one (1) email signup per person. You must remain subscribed throughout the Sweepstakes Period and through the winner selection process to maintain your Point(s).

B. SMS Signup (No Purchase Required)

Visit The Gooby Challenge landing page and submit a valid mobile telephone number to sign up for Gooby Pet SMS marketing. You will receive four (4) Points upon successful enrollment. Limit one (1) SMS signup per person, regardless of how many valid mobile telephone numbers a person may have. You must remain subscribed throughout the Sweepstakes Period and through the winner selection process to maintain your Point(s).

Message and data rates may apply. Sponsor does not charge for text messages; however, messages are subject to your wireless carrier's standard rates. Not all mobile carriers support the service necessary to participate via this method. Consent to receive SMS marketing is not a condition of entry or purchase.

C. Make a Purchase

During the Sweepstakes Period, each qualifying purchase made at goobypet.com will earn four (4) Points per order. Points are tied to the email address used at checkout. If an order is returned or refunded prior to the end of the Sweepstakes Period, Points associated with that order will be voided. Purchases made using gift cards are not eligible to receive Points; however, if a purchase exceeds the gift card value, Points will be awarded for the balance paid. All purchases are subject to Sponsor's standard return policy. There is no per-order limit on earning Points via this method; however, total Points are subject to the seventy-five (75) Point maximum described above.

D. Bonus Activities (No Purchase Required)

Throughout the Sweepstakes Period, additional opportunities to earn Points will be available on The Gooby Challenge landing page. These activities are organized into themed phases and do not require a purchase. Each activity may only be completed once per person per phase. All bonus activity submissions are made through the embedded form on the Sweepstakes landing page.

Phase 1 — Dog Mom Week (May 4–10, 2026)

Submit a short written answer to the prompt "If your dog could talk, what would they say about you as a dog mom?" — 2 Points
Submit a short written answer to the prompt "Tell us about a time your dog was there for you when you needed it most." — 2 Points
Upload a photo of you and your dog — 2 Points
Upload a video (30 seconds or less) about what being a dog mom means to you — 4 Points

Phase 2 — Rescuers Spotlight (May 15–20, 2026)

Submit a short written answer to the prompt "What has your dog taught you?" — 2 Points
Submit a short written answer recommending a shelter you'd love Gooby to add to its donation list (name and city) — 2 Points
Upload a photo of your dog's favorite spot in the house — 2 Points
Upload a video (30 seconds or less) showing what your dog does when you come home — 4 Points

Phase 3 — Mystery Bonus Phase (May 22–27, 2026)

Phase 4 — Best Friends Day (June 1–8, 2026)

Submit a short written answer to the prompt "Tell us the story of how you and your best friend found each other." — 2 Points
Submit a short written answer to the prompt "What's something you and your best friend do together that nobody else would understand?" — 2 Points
Upload a photo of you and your best friend together — 2 Points
Upload a video (30 seconds or less) of you and your best friend doing your thing together — 4 Points

Phase 5 — Dog Dad Week (June 15–21, 2026)

Submit a short written answer to the prompt "If your dog could talk, what would they say about you as a dog dad?" — 2 Points
Submit a short written answer to the prompt "Tell us about a time your dog was there for you when you needed it most." — 2 Points
Upload a photo of you and your dog — 2 Points
Upload a video (30 seconds or less) about what being a dog dad means to you — 4 Points

All submissions become the property of the Sponsor and may be used for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes. By submitting content, you grant Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, display, and create derivative works from such content for any purpose, including but not limited to marketing, advertising, social media, and promotional materials, in any media now known or hereafter developed, without further compensation, notice, or consent. Sponsor is not required to use any submission. Submissions must not contain any content that is obscene, offensive, defamatory, or that infringes on any third party's rights. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any submission at its sole discretion.

Quiet Periods: During the periods of May 11–14, May 21, May 28–31, and June 9–14, 2026, only baseline entry methods are active: email signup (Section A), SMS signup (Section B), and purchases (Section C). No bonus activities are available during these periods.

E. Free Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE) — No Purchase Required

To receive Points without making a purchase or completing any of the above methods, legibly hand-print your full name, full mailing address (no P.O. Boxes), email address, phone number, and date of birth on a plain 3" x 5" piece of paper and mail it in a hand-addressed, stamped envelope to:

Each mail-in entry must be mailed separately. No photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted. Each valid mail-in entry received will be awarded four (4) Points. Mail-in entries must be postmarked no later than June 21, 2026 and received by June 28, 2026 to be eligible. Proof of mailing does not constitute proof of receipt. All mail-in entries become the physical property of the Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged.

Maximum total Points per person: 75. One (1) Point = One (1) entry in the final drawing. The more Points a participant earns, the more entries they receive, but total Points are capped at 75.

5. SWEEPSTAKES DRAWING

On or about June 26, 2026, the Sponsor will conduct a random drawing to select two (2) potential winners from among all eligible entries (Points) received during the Sweepstakes Period. The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor or its designated representative. The decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding.

6. ODDS OF WINNING

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible Points (entries) accumulated by all participants during the Sweepstakes Period.

7. PRIZES

Two (2) winners will each receive one (1) Gooby Pet gift card valued at two hundred fifty U.S. dollars ($250 USD). Gift cards are redeemable at goobypet.com only.

Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of all prizes: $500 USD.

If the winner is a Canadian resident, the prize will be fulfilled as a Gooby Pet gift card valued at $250 USD. The winner is responsible for any currency exchange differences and any applicable duties or taxes on purchases made with the gift card.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash, substituted, or exchanged, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. All prize details not specified in these Official Rules will be determined by the Sponsor. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, provincial, territorial, and local taxes associated with the prize.

If a winner is a Canadian resident, they must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question as a condition of receiving the prize.

Limit one (1) prize per person.

8. WINNER NOTIFICATION

Potential winners will be notified via email using the email address associated with their entry within a commercially reasonable time after the drawing. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within seven (7) days of the initial notification attempt, if the notification is returned as undeliverable, or if the potential winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, the potential winner will forfeit the prize and an alternate winner may be selected from among the remaining eligible entries.

Each potential winner may be required to complete and return a declaration of eligibility and liability release within seven (7) days of notification as a condition of receiving the prize. Failure to return such documents within the required time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

Winners will be announced publicly on or about June 26, 2026 via Gooby Pet's email list and social media channels.

9. CONTENT SUBMISSIONS AND LICENSING

By submitting any content (written answers, photos, or videos) as part of the Bonus Activities described in Section 3(D), you represent and warrant that:

(a) You are the sole creator and owner of the submitted content, or you have all necessary rights and permissions to submit the content and grant the rights described herein;

(b) The content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or any other rights of any third party;

(c) The content does not contain any material that is obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, harassing, or otherwise objectionable as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.

You grant the Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, display, and create derivative works from your submitted content for any purpose, including but not limited to marketing, advertising, social media, and promotional materials, in any media now known or hereafter developed, without further compensation, notice, or consent. Sponsor is not required to use any submission.

10. GENERAL CONDITIONS

The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes in whole or in part if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes. In such event, the Sponsor may select winners from among all eligible entries received prior to the cancellation, termination, modification, or suspension.

The Sponsor is not responsible for: (a) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible, or incomplete entries; (b) any technical malfunctions, failures, or difficulties with websites, computer systems, servers, providers, hardware, software, or email; (c) errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, or the announcement of prizes; or (d) injury or damage to any person's computer or device related to participation in the Sweepstakes.

Attempts to enter by using multiple email addresses, multiple identities, or any automated means (including but not limited to scripts, bots, or other programmatic methods) will result in disqualification. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these Official Rules.

11. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless the Sponsor and its respective officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity; (b) the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize; or (c) any content submitted by the entrant.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SWEEPSTAKES.

12. PRIVACY

Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor's Privacy Policy, available at goobypet.com/policies/privacy-policy. Personal information collected in connection with the Sweepstakes will be used for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes, notifying winners, and as otherwise described in these Official Rules and the Sponsor's Privacy Policy. By entering the Sweepstakes, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described herein and in the Sponsor's Privacy Policy.

13. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Official Rules and any disputes arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Official Rules or the Sweepstakes shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

For residents of Canada: The above choice of law and jurisdiction does not deprive entrants of the protection afforded by mandatory statutory provisions of their province or territory of residence.
