Comfort X Harness

Unfortunately we don't currently offer custom sizing or designs for any of our products.

Follow these steps:

1. Put the harness over your dog's head.
2. On the side where it is closed off or the side that does not have the side release buckle, lift your dog's left leg up and let the dog step in the harness.
3. Bring the strap around your dog's chest and adjust it accordingly before you buckle it up.

Note:

• Check that the harness is not twisted and that the "X" with the "G" logo sits nicely on your dog's chest while the "GOOBY" word is resting on your dog's back.
• It's important to make sure the Gooby Comfort X Head-In Harness is properly fitted and adjusted before using it on your dog to ensure their comfort and safety.

The Gooby Comfort X Head-In Harness comes in a range of sizes from dogs with chest measurement of 11.75" up to 28".

NOTE: You can check the sizing chart provided per Gooby product to determine the best fit for your dog.

• The main body of the harness is constructed with 100 % polyester breathable mesh fabric.
• Straps and buckles are made of sturdy nylon.

• Yes, the Gooby Comfort X Head-In Harness is designed to be easy to put on and take off, especially compared to other harnesses that require a lot of fiddling and adjusting.
• The harness features a head-In design that allows you to put the harness over the head and then is secured around the dog's back.

Yes, it is.

Depending on the harness size, it can accommodate a dog with a chest measurement of 11.75" up to 28".

• Compared to our Escape Free Collection harnesses, the Comfort X Head-IN Harness doesn't have the escape free functionality.
• However, it does reasonably well at keeping your dog secured since it's a head-in harness.

Note: if the fit isn't right for the pup, no harness will truly be escape proof.

Yes, the Gooby Comfort X Head-In Harness is machine washable.

We recommend the following:

• using a gentle cycle with mild detergent and cold water
• rinse the harness thoroughly before air drying it.

Absolutely, the Gooby Comfort X Head-In Harness is suitable for most toys and small dogs.

At times, depending on the chest size, it could also fit medium dogs.

Important note:

• choose the correct size for your dog.
• always monitor your dog when using a new harness because some dogs may not be comfortable wearing a new harness for the first time.

Yes, we recently changed it for a sleeker look.

It's now coated in black - this protective black coating helps prevent potential metal ring oxidation from getting onto the dog's fur.

Important Note:

• The new look D-ring is still made with metal, not plastic.
• Under the black coating is its stainless steel body and just like other coated metals, a magnet may not be expected to stick to it.

Yes, for matching leashes, please check the following two options:

Note:

• not all colors that are available for the Comfort X harness are necessarily available for the leashes.

Gooby harnesses do not have specific places to attach such tags at this time

Some customers have utilized the D-ring on the harness and have found good success.

The metal leash hooks can potentially rust if there is extended exposure to moisture. However, this is highly unlikely unless the d-ring is constantly immersed in liquid.

The short answer is "no it doesn't, but please choose the right size and adjust the fit properly for your pup."

The longer explanation is below for your reference.

• It's designed ergonomically with soft and gentle material to minimize discomfort and rubbing in sensitive areas (i.e. dog's armpits).
• The patented X frame distributes pressure evenly across the chest, reducing the likelihood of chafing or irritation.

• Yes, it can replace your collar if you're use collars to walk your dog.
• It does not replace your collar if you're using it for name tags.

Note:

• If you're currently using a collar to walk your small dog, we would strongly suggest you to stop. Using it for name tags is fine 🙂.
• The most significant advantage of utilizing a dog harness is the redistribution of pressure that would usually be focused on the neck when a collar is used.

Yes! the Comfort X Harness can be used for all day wear.

In fact, many of our customers have told us that it's the only harness their dog can stand wearing all day.
