1. In general, what is the Zip Up Microfiber Fleece?

Step-In Design - perfect for your pup especially if they are sensitive or frightened of having a harness pushed over their head.
Premium YKK Zippers - known for their durability, smooth operation, and reliability.
Bottom Opening - it provides convenient and effortless access, making it easy to put on or remove the garment with ease.

2. What materials are used?

The vest is made of 94% Polyester and 6% Elastane.

Polyester is a synthetic fiber known for its durability, wrinkle resistance, and ability to retain its shape. It is commonly used for swimwear and activewear.

Elastane also known as Spandex or Lycra, is a synthetic fiber that provides exceptional stretch and elasticity. It is commonly used in sportswear, swimwear, underwear, and other garments that require stretch and recovery.

Both materials help to provide a snug and supportive fit, allowing freedom of movement and enhancing the overall comfort of your dog.

3. How to put it on?

Follow these steps:
1. Unzip the vest and lay it flat on the ground.
2. Lift your dog's front legs and guide them through the two leg holes of the vest.
3. Bring the vest up and around your dog's back, ensuring that the vest's back portion is properly aligned with your dog's spine.
4. Fasten the zipper or buttons on the vest, making sure it is snug but not too tight on your dog's chest.
5. Adjust the vest's neck and waist areas, ensuring that it fits comfortably and snugly but not too tight.
6. Double-check that the vest is properly aligned and fastened to your dog's body to ensure maximum warmth and comfort.

4. How warm is it?

It is double-layered which makes it twice warmer than a single layered vest. It is designed to provide insulation to keep your pup warm during colder weather conditions.

While it is designed to provide warmth and comfort in cooler weather, it may not be suitable for use in extremely low temperatures.

5. How to find the right size?

Follow these steps:
1. Measure the widest part of your dog's chest
2. Measure your dog's length from the base of your dog's neck to the base of his tail.
3. Refer to the sizing chart provided by Gooby to determine the appropriate size for your dog's vest.

6. Will it fit large breeds?

Gooby products are primarily designed for toys and small breeds. However, in certain cases, they may also accommodate medium and large pups with chest measurements ranging from 11" to 28.5".

7. Can it handle rain?

It is not waterproof, but it is water-resistant to some extent.

This means that it can resist light rain and minimal water splashes, but it is not designed to be submerged in water or withstand heavy rain or water exposure.

8. Is it suitable for cats?

We've had feedbacks from our community that our stretch fleece works great on their cat but it is important to note that cats have distinct body structures, sizes, and temperaments in comparison to dogs.

For this reason, it is generally advised to opt for apparels specifically designed for cats.

9. Is it good for all day wear?

Yes. It is suitable for extended periods of wear.

However, the ideal duration for wearing the vest may vary depending on your dog's individual needs and preferences.

Important note:

Some dogs may be more sensitive to certain fabrics or styles of clothing.
Monitor your dog closely while they are wearing the apparel.
Remove if you notice any signs of discomfort or irritation.

10. Is it machine washable?

Yes, it is machine washable.

using a gentle cycle with mild detergent and cold water.
rinse the harness thoroughly before air drying it.

11. Is it stretchable?

Yes, the it is designed to be stretchable.

It offers flexibility and allows for a snug fit that conforms to your dog's body shape. This stretchability ensures that your dog can move comfortably and freely while wearing the vest.

12. Does it have a D-ring?

No. It does not have a D-ring.

13. Will it shrink?

Yes. It could potentially shrink or pill overtime.

We recommend the following:

using a gentle cycle with mild detergent and cold water.
rinse the harness thoroughly before air drying it.

We stand by our products. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return your order within 30 days of purchase for a refund of the items.

We are currently only able to create labels for U.S. based address.
