1. In general, what is the Comfort Vest?

It is a dog vest designed to provide comfort and support for your furry friend. It is made of soft and lightweight materials, and it is intended to be a cozy and enjoyable garment for dogs to wear.

It comes with the following features:

Soft to the touch inside - great vest for all-day comfort and warmth.
Water resistant outer layer - helps keep your pup dry from sudden showers.
Ultra lightweight - weighs less than 3 slices of sandwich bread, your pup barely even feel it.
Soft & breathable trim - protects and reduce chaffing.
Step-in design - perfect for your pup especially if they are sensitive or frightened of having a harness pushed over their head.
Pain-free zipper guard - helps prevent your pet's hair from getting caught in the zipper.

2. What materials are used?

The inner layer is made of silky smooth and comfortable material.

The outer layer is made of water resistant layer made of 100% nylon.

3. How to put it on?

Follow these steps:
1. Unzip the vest and lay it flat on the ground.
2. Lift your dog's front legs and guide them through the two leg holes of the vest.
3. Bring the vest up and around your dog's back, ensuring that the vest's back portion is properly aligned with your dog's spine.
4. Fasten the zipper or buttons on the vest, making sure it is snug but not too tight on your dog's chest.
5. Adjust the vest's neck and waist areas, ensuring that it fits comfortably and snugly but not too tight.
6. Double-check that the vest is properly aligned and fastened to your dog's body to ensure maximum warmth and comfort.

4. How warm is it?

It is designed to provide insulation to keep your pup warm during colder weather conditions.

While it is designed to provide warmth and comfort in cooler weather, it may not be suitable for extremely cold weather, and may not provide sufficient warmth in temperatures below freezing or during heavy snowfall.

5. How to find the right size?

Follow these steps:
1. Measure the widest part of your dog's chest
2. Measure your dog's length from the base of your dog's neck to the base of his tail.
3. Refer to the sizing chart provided by Gooby to determine the appropriate size for your dog's vest.

6. Will it fit large breeds?

Gooby products are primarily designed for toys and small breeds. However, in certain cases, they may also accommodate medium and large pups with chest measurements ranging from 13" to 23".

7. Can it handle rain?

It is not waterproof, but it is water-resistant.

This means that it can resist light rain and water splashes, but it is not designed to be submerged in water or withstand heavy rain or water exposure.

8. Is it suitable for cats?

We've had feedbacks from our community that our stretch fleece works great on their cat but it is important to note that cats have distinct body structures, sizes, and temperaments in comparison to dogs.

For this reason, it is generally advised to opt for apparels specifically designed for cats.

9. Is it good for all day wear?

Yes. It is suitable for extended periods of wear.

However, the ideal duration for wearing the vest may vary depending on your dog's individual needs and preferences.

Important note:

Some dogs may be more sensitive to certain fabrics or styles of clothing.
Monitor your dog closely while they are wearing the apparel.
Remove if you notice any signs of discomfort or irritation.

10. Is it machine washable?

Yes, it is machine washable.

We recommend the following:

using a gentle cycle with mild detergent and cold water.
rinse the harness thoroughly before air drying it.

11. Is it stretchable?

No. It is not stretchable.

12. Is it prone to shrinkage?

It is not commonly reported with shrinkage issue .

However it is still recommended to follow the care instructions on the product label to prevent any possible damage and/or potential shrinkage to the product.

We stand by our products. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return your order within 30 days of purchase for a refund of the items.

We are currently only able to create labels for U.S. based address.
