This is our second harness. Our rescue has a problem with his trachea, which causes him to cough with any tension on it. This step-in harness is the best solution that we have found. Please don’t discontinue it! We own the medium and the small. I love the construction of the medium. The small fits him better, but I don’t like the leash rings on the small, they are two small. I understand that you are trying to make a harness for a smaller dog. I have a lot of arthritis in my hands and find those small rings difficult to work with and on the cheap side. The medium rings are perfect and robust, but our little boy falls out of the medium. I would prefer for the small you use the same components as on the medium, just smaller. I would then suggest selling the current small harness as an extra-small.
I love this collar and it fits one of my dogs but I had to return the first one that was sent because it was too big. I went a size down and I wish it would tighten up a little. She would fit better in the small. It’s crazy because the website said she was measuring in an XL. She’s a Boston terrier so she’s broad chested but isn’t big.
